Project type
Site-specific installation
Year
2026
Location
IDENTITeat -Accademia Italiana, San Lorenzo Scalo Roma
Technique
Mixed: charcoal, metal, plexiglass, clay
The site-specific work F.A.M.E. (Famine Atrocity Massacre Emergency) has been designed specifically for the exhibition space.
The installation denounces the atrocities of genocide, alongside the accompanying famine.
It consists of three children’s kitchen sets, and in place of food, clay figures take shape, writhing, ‘screaming’ and expressing pain.
On the wall, a child’s drawing (in charcoal) remains as a trace and testimony to a domestic imagination.
The Plexiglas base covers the hob, on which pots, pans and various utensils are placed.
