Anatomie del nutrimento is a cultural and artistic project, winner of the Artes et Iubileum call for proposals and curated by Cities Art Projects, which explores food not only as nourishment, but also as an act of cultural exchange and transformation. The project took place in Rome’s 3rd and 15th Municipal Districts.
The initiative engaged local communities through workshops led by artists and experts in the field, exploring food as a tool to revive local traditions and rediscover their value in everyday life.
Gaia Scaramella curated the series of workshops in Municipality III, held at the Saxa Rubra nursery school, together with sociologist Greta Scaramella. The programme, entitled La Via Lattea, focuses on milk as a symbol of nourishment and cultural tradition, exploring its historical, symbolic and social dimensions.
