The work is a misappropriation (hence the replacement of the faces with my own image) of the texts traditionally written in funeral announcements.
A ‘what I would like people to write about me’.
But also a commentary on the ‘sanctification’ of the deceased.
The work was exhibited at Sara Zanin’s Galleria Z20 in 2007 and in the exhibition “Cose Mai Viste”, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva, in 2009
